Italian fashion entrepreneur Renzo Rosso’s career began at the age of 15 when he created his first pair of flared pants. He wore them, his friends wanted them, and a clothing pioneer was born. Renzo learnt his trade working for a local clothing manufacturer, before developing a brand of jeans that was to become one of the world’s most iconic fashion and lifestyle brands. With an eye to creating alternative clothing for free-spirits around the world, Diesel was born. Since the early 1990s Renzohas won multiple awards across fashion, advertising and business, and has been given Grand Prix awards from the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival on four occasions. In 2010, Renzo Rosso entered his latest and most ambitious project: the Only The Brave foundation, a not-for-profit organisation with the mission to mobilize people all over the world to end extreme poverty.
